Sweet Taste of Malta Christmas Offer

It has always been my long-standing wish to write a book about Maltese sweets. I must say this was no easy undertaking because there are serious limitations as to what can be considered as “Maltese sweets”. Our sweets are heavily influenced by the sweets of southern Italy and of Arab countries, which had a particular strong influence in Sicily. I have therefore complied this collection of sweets we can truly call Maltese and others that are so popular on the islands that we can safely say that they have become “Maltese”.
